Origami Table Object
A new addition to our tablewear family, these fun origami table objects are inspired by folded chopstick wrappers. Decorative and practical at the same time, these are made in polished brass and may be used as chopstick stands, cutlery rests, or even paperweights. Each piece measures at 7cm in length, 2.5cm in width and 2 cm in height.
Natural oxidation may occur due to various elements including dust, moisture and grease. We like how brass captures the times we’ve used an item. However, we understand there is also the need to clean the tarnish off after a while. To treat unwanted patina, polish with the following non-toxic solution. Mix the juice of half a lemon and one teaspoon of baking soda, stir until the mixture becomes a paste. Use a piece of soft cloth to apply the paste onto tarnished brass, rinse off and dry. Reapply where necessary and repeat the process until the piece regains desired sheen. Make sure to rinse and dry thoroughly before storing in box.
